Mark your calendars for a favorite Arlington summertime tradition - the 10th annual Shakespeare in the Park, held this year at Menotomy Rocks Park in Arlington on Sunday, August 1st at 5:00 pm.

The heralded teen troupe, Rebel Shakespeare Company, will perform a family-friendly 90-minute version of Othello. Audience members are encouraged to come early, bring chairs or blankets and a picnic. The sponsors will sell desserts and beverages to supplement your picnic baskets.



Shakespeare Workshop for Kids & Teens

3-4pm in Menotomy Rocks Park

Join the Rebel Cast for a fun and informal workshop before the show! Fun theater games and warm-up exercises, plus a fun introduction to some of the text & language of Othello.


About Rebel Shakespeare

Rebel Shakespeare is one of the most highly regarded arts-in-education programs in the Boston area. For 20 years, the Rebel Shakespeare Company has been a fixture across Boston's North Shore, bringing the timeless works of William Shakespeare and the creative genius of children together. Founded by Artistic Director Keri Cahill in 1990, Rebel Shakespeare is committed to offering theatre as a vehicle for self-understanding. Their mission is to create a space where children and teens can truly experience being themselves.
